“Say its love from Africa in Ghana”

Ten years on, my sister S was writing me from Takoradi.
Eight years ago, it was my good friend N’s turn to write from Sekondi.
Today, it’s my trun to think of them along the Gulf of Guinea… almost in Ghana.
This Sunday, as I went back to Assinie, I walked until the end of the beach, until the village of Assinie-Mafia. On the beach of Assinie-Mafia, I met with a group of fishermen from the nearby ghanian village of Half-Assinie. I was just a few kilometers away from Ghana.
This encounter reminds me of Rocky Dawuni’s music S likes to listen to.
